Our head office is based in central Manchester and is the home to many of our central functions. To support our continued ambitious growth plans, we are delighted to be recruiting for a Telephony Advisor to join our fantastic planning team. 

What will I be doing? 

As a Telephony Advisor on our Planning team, our Engineers and Customers will count on you to plan and book their engineering inspections using purpose designed software. You will help us deliver the highest quality inspections by confirming all the details so our engineers get to where they’re needed, when they’re needed.

Some of your responsibilities will include: 

  • Using your excellent customer service skills to contact our customers and inform of, or confirm their booking  
  • Confirmation of appointments for all inspections with customers via inbound and outbound calls
  • Use purpose designed software to ensure correct data is inputted for the engineers to follow, ensuring an effective and efficient schedule
  • Working with the wider team to prioritise and book in urgent inspections when required
  • Using your fantastic problem-solving skills to keep our engineer travel time to a minimum, ensuring that we are as efficient as we can be
  • Ability to self-manage workloads and work to strict deadlines
  • Ability to provide reliable, high-quality service to customers
  • Ability to input accurate data in to the system
  • Achieving quality and productivity targets relating to inspection bookings and telephony SLA’s

What experience do I need? 

Our team consists of the best planning and optimisation team members, we should know, we trained them! You don’t need heaps of experience, just the right attitude, aptitude and appetite for what we do.

You will:   

  • Offer highly effective communication skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • A team player with excellent customer service skills
  • IT literate
  • Organisational skills
  • Strong telephone skills
  • Previous experience dealing with a high volume of calls in a customer contact centre environment - desirable
  • Ability to work to targets
  • Customer service experience – desirable
